Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of EasyGroup and Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, is sponsoring for the third consecutive year the “Stelios Award for Young Entrepreneur in Greece”, in cooperation with the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Association. ALBA Graduate Business School organizes the Award’s administration and research.
In order to mark the 2010 Award announcement, ALBA Graduate Business School and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation invite you to a special event to celebrate female entrepreneurship. The event will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2010 at 18.00 and will be hosted by the Microsoft Innovation Center (103, Vas. Sofias Avenue, Athens).
Event's Agenda
Invited speakers are young, successful women entrepreneurs, who will share their entrepreneurial experience: Ms Rebecca Pitsika (People for Business), Ms Vassiliki Zacharaki (Avlaia Collection), Ms Errica Prezerakou (Replayce) and Ms Lucy-Anna Elliott (Cake). The discussion will be moderated by journalist Ms Mina Bagiota from ‘Ελεύθερος Τύπος’ and ‘Real News’ newspapers. Moreover, Mr. Michalis Nafpliotis from zoo.gr will share his experience of the 2009 Award winners.
About the Award
The “Stelios Award for Young Entrepreneur in Greece” inspires its young recipients to even greater heights of entrepreneurial success. As well a tremendous sense of achievement, the Award’s prize of € 50,000 also creates a substantial launchpad for this future growth. The Award is given to entrepreneurs that are up to 40 years old. The 2010 deadline for participation submissions is September 27, 2010. The grand winner will be announced in November 2010 during the Awards Ceremony for the annual Kouros Awards of the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Association.
